Writing lab reports is different from writing essays because you are not necessarily trying to make a point.When writing lab reports, you are simply required to present the available information into an appropriate format, using scientific terms.

- Probably the most important section when writing lab reports would be your analysis. You will outline here for your reader, the results of your experiment. When writing lab reports, remember that this section should conclude with how others should vary the test in the future to get better results. Then others who are writing lab reports can rely on your findings.
- Finally, when writing lab reports, you can conclude by summarizing the results and discussing what they mean against the theory.
