Developing Workplace Communication

What is the leader’s role in creating high-performance workplaces?

Leaders have a significant influence on the development of high-performance workplaces. Human resource managers are responsible for selecting top talents for specific jobs, enabling the attainment of the best-fit individuals for specific jobs (Riisla et al., 2021). In addition, the management sets the tone of performance through effective communication of organizational goals, which directly impact employee performance. Organizational leaders develop an organization’s culture, which may serve as a source of motivation and inspiration for the facilitation of excellence in project execution (Riisla et al., 2021). Such practices give the management the power and ability to create high-performance workplaces.

What role does clear communication play in high-performance workplaces?

Effective communication is a significant tool in the establishment of a high-performance workplace. Communication in the workplace enables individuals to get clear instructions on executing their tasks, enhancing employee trust (Mikkola & Valkonen, 2019). In addition, clear communication enables the employees to work in the right direction in line with organizational goals. Effective communication in the workplace enhances employee morale and satisfaction as there are fewer cases of conflict and role ambiguity (Mikkola & Valkonen, 2019). Due to this reason, the employees are likely to engage perfectly, enhancing their productivity.

What is the role of trust in leadership in high-performance workplaces?

Trust is perceived as an ingredient that enables effective relationships between organizational leaders and their staff. It is presumed that the foundation of a great workplace is developed through organizational credibility, fairness, and respect, which are key factors that lead to the development of trust (Mikkola & Valkonen, 2019). When the managers ensure interactions in the workplace are open and transparent, employees can communicate freely and express their ideas, creating an effective relationship with their superiors. Such processes enable the staff to be innovative and develop new solutions for the challenges that may arise within the workplace.
