Human Resource Management Issues

The HRM plays a fundamental role in hiring the right people for a particular job. By recruiting the right qualified specialists, the company becomes more profitable and productive. The first stage of searching for new employees is to analyze the necessary qualities and skills for a particular job. This is perhaps one of the most important stages, allowing the company to weed out unsuitable candidates immediately. If the company omits this stage, there is a chance to recruit personnel that is not suitable for the position.

The next stage of recruitment is the recruitment itself, training, and integration of employees into the work process. The learning process should motivate employees, help them fit into the team, and know exactly what is expected. The importance of this stage is to help the employee settle down in a new place and reveal their potential. If not enough work has been done at this stage, people will not take root in the team. It is important to understand that the employee needs the right remuneration corresponding to his work.

The last stage includes dismissal, which is also a very important process. Competent dismissal of an employee will help make a good reputation for the company. Negative consequences include loss of reputation and a protracted search for a new employee. Misunderstanding the importance of the hiring process can lead to an alpha error. This means that the organization cannot test the correct workforce, resulting in poor performance of tasks. Not being able to compensate workers for their work profitably, workers seek work from other bosses. As a result, the organization’s turnover ratio increases, leading to labor shortages and additional costs. Following the human resource management process described above, an organization’s or employer’s branding is greatly enhanced by quality recruitment. It happens because employees speak positively about their employer in the community. If the human resource management process works well, the employee retention rate of the organization increases.
